How did you feel when it came to telling people?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well Amy, interesting question. I didn’t tell everyone to start with, like I didn’t post on Facebook saying, “Hey Iv’e got cancer!” I initially just told people I was close with, family and close friends, in person. I think I needed some time to figure out the situation for myself, before telling everyone and being asked a whole lot of questions I didn’t know the answers to. I like knowing the answers. \ud83d\ude42 So I just took my time, and went slowly.<\/p>\n

Eventually obviously I went more public, as I started writing my blog. I do still find it interesting telling people and seeing their reactions, so many people don’t know how to respond. Mostly I think because they don’t know how good or bad my situation is. That is quite understandable, and I usually try my best to let them understand that I am winning this battle, and all will be well. After a few minutes my positivity rubs off on them and the tension goes away. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
