Chemo day (Tuesday) went really well again, I used my right arm this time. It was quite achy when the last drug went in. That is the one that usually hurts, but after an hour or so I got used to it, that one takes three hours to go in. Now how ever the ache is gone, we’ll see what happens on Sunday. In the mean time my left arm and hand is having a well deserved rest. Time for my body to do some maintenance on the veins in my left arm. Repair crews are GO! ๐
Once again I would like to say a huge thank you to my support team. They take me to the cancer center, where I get the chemo treatment, they prepare me food and drinks and keep me company. We had some great conversation today and we also were really productive. Time well spent. ABTY again. ๐
Now the fun starts, we’ll see how the chemo affects me this time. One kinda new side effect I might mention is that my mouth has become a bit tender, with some small blisters here and there. I’ve been treating it with a real basic but effective home made mouth wash. It seems to be working well. This could have been brought on by me eating a Veg Hot and Spicy Pizza earlier in the week… I know, I know, but TASTY. ๐
That’s all for today, I’ll keep you all updated so keep checking back. ๐ If you like what I write and think that some one else may benefit from reading my posts feel free to share it with them. That would be great, I’d like to help as many as I can. ๐
Stay Hot and Spicy, and Awesome.
Tastily, T Neil van Rooyen.
I’m glad you have a bit of energy today, and managed to get out and about for a short while, especially seeing that the sun is out at the moment.
lovies hugs xx
You and those pizzas haha. I might have to try one just to see what all the fuss is about when I get home haha. It’s so good to hear it went well today. I’m also so glad to hear you have a great team of people walking beside you through this. ๐
