Ok all you people of Awesomeness, it’s my turn to ask you a few questions. 🙂 Lets see how you go.

Lets talk about rules for a moment, and the fact that they change. I did a quick google search and found that rules most definitely do change. Here is the first result that I found. And that’s just one game. Now if you were to play a game or a sport, you play by it’s rules right. When someone asks you to play a game that you have never heard of, what’s the first thing that happens, they teach you the rules. Otherwise you won’t be able to join in, and if you did, you most definitely won’t win.

Now lets say you learn the rules and you start to get good at this game. You keep playing for a good amount of time, and then you turn up one day and rules have changed. The thing is though, not all the players have been told that the rules have changed. If you are one of the players that are playing by the old rules, there is a really good chance that you will no longer be winning. So I hear you say: “Well that’s not fair!” Perhaps it’s not, but often times life is not fair. We still have to deal with it though. 🙂

Who’s responsible for keeping you up to date with the rules. Well if you were playing an official sport you wouldn’t be allowed to play unless you knew the rules. But what about things in life that are not official? Same thing applies, if you don’t play by the latest rules you won’t win. If you want good results, you have to learn the latest set of rules. The responsibility is yours, own it. 🙂

Here is my questions to you, are you using the right set of rules, are you getting the results you want? Ask yourself these questions. It applies to many areas of life. Leave a post and tell us your take on changing rules. 🙂

Stay Awesome.

  1. Good post Neil.
Personally, I TRY to live by the guidelines given in the Bible, they NEVER change , just as God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow! If you apply them, no matter what the circumstances, you may not always please man, but I strive (and don’t always succeed), to please God and not man! Still learning this!!
Bless you today! And praying that we get the best possible outcome from the PET scan results!
    lovies xx
