Couple of days ago I wrote about things that make you angry about the world. So often we focus on the down side of things, the negatives. We complain about things, sometimes totally unimportant things. I wonder if we realize how we negatively effect our lives by spending our energy this way. Some time ago, I’m not sure exactly when, I decided to start focusing on positive things in life. At first not much happened, life continued as per usual. I didn’t really notice anything. Looking back now I am most definitely noticing how my decisions are making a difference. It is a whole lot easier to spend energy on positive thoughts than on negative ones. Because when you approach situations with positiveness you feel better, even if the situation is difficult. If you took the negative path you would soon end up on a downward spiral. Might I mention that this spiral is slippery and steep.
So today instead I ask you this question: What makes you [ insert positive emotion here ] about the world? Maybe it is something that makes you happy, grateful or inspired. Seen as we don’t focus on these here is a website with some positive emotions for you to think about:

By the way I just googled Positive emotions and this was the first result. So have a read and post a comment back here about your positive thoughts on the world.
Stay tuned for tomorrow, I think we’ll talk about gratefulness.
Keep smiling and stay Awesome.

Yes I agree with positive thoughts. When you are down there is only one way and that is positive thinking, some time it takes a while but practice makes perfect. I know because I was there. Love.
So true. It’s so easy to focus on the negative and I definitely identify with the downward spiral – it’s your thoughts taking you on a rollercoaster ride and you feel anything but in control! Positive is definitely a choice and maybe like you say not one with an immediate result, but a gradual one.
What makes me grateful about the world? It’s the one place where we have the ability to smile and smiles are like a feel good movie!
With a positive outlook to any situation one can have a positive outcome. Even in our darkest times, just by looking around at the small things, such as a flower, or a bird singing, we can improve our mood and attitude. With a positive attitude, the body and spirit has no choice but to follow suit and let the positivity and healing flow though every fiber of our being. Before you know it, you find yourself smiling, even though you don’t know why…
The power of positive thinking is great.
Let it flow.
Lots of love and strength to you on this journey.
Today I experienced Positive Thinking in action! You have been positive from the start of this journey and your first treatment today went amazingly well. The needle went in to your hand without any fuss or bother and all the drugs were administered in good time, even the drug that was supposed to give you some pain and discomfort, was well tolerated. I continue to pray for no side effects and a full recovery over the next 11 treatments. I am honoured to be able to walk / ride (the train) this journey with you! God Bless you my son!
