Having some time to think and waiting to see how I felt after chemo I decided to stay at home. I had some afternoon tea at “Mums Inn” and then went home. I was feeling pretty tired and couldn’t resist my bed any longer. Oh man, I had the best sleep ever. It was only about three hours but I woke up feeling like I slept for eight or nine. I felt so much better after that sleep. That was good as I could then use my new found vigor to wash some dishes and make my dinner. 🙂
More good sleep last night, so today is going pretty good also. That is chemo treatment number six done, which means that we are officially half way through. I’m really glad about that, as getting needles stuck in me twice every fortnight is growing tiresome. 🙂 I hate needles if I haven’t mentioned that before. 🙂 “But what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger right?” – He tells himself as he passes the nurse his arm and looks the other way 🙂
Ok enough talk about needles, needless to say then:
Stay Awesome.
Positively Needle-less for twelve more needles, I mean days, T Neil van Rooyen. 🙂
LOL funny! The bit about the needles, the nurse and the arm, but oh so true lol …. glad you are feeling good, remember I’m just a phone call away! lovies xx
you are not the only one that doesn’t like needles so I know how you feel Neil. Looking out the window if there is one or looking up to the ceiling and counting the fly spots,
Sounds like that new bed of yours was good investment. Pleased to hear you are doing well and able to cook dinner has got to be progress.
