What really makes you angry about the world?

Oh my where do I start!

No just kidding, I’m not really an angry person, probably because I figured out over the years that being angry at stuff slash the world doesn’t make anything better.  In fact it usually makes the situation worse. So why this topic for my post today then?  I joined a challenge to start writing a blog and with the challenge came a 7 day course on how to be a better writer.  Also the course helps you build a good writing habit.  I need the latter more as building new habits are a bit of a challenge for me.  Especially good habits.  Anyway the courses suggested topic for today is what I’m writing about.  Not one I would have chosen first but none the less a topic that strikes a chord with me, as there is lots in this world that I know is not right and gets me fired up.

To the topic then.  After some thought and having to choose between so many things that gets me fired up, here it is.  Being hoodwinked.  I don’t mind being tricked as a prank, or even being lied to as a means of pulling off a surprise party.  But when countries, nations or the like are hoodwinked and it causes pain, destruction and death, that gets me fired up.  And if I think about it in a negative fashion I guess I would get angry.  But like I said before that helps no one.  I prefer to ponder on and strive towards solutions.  I could talk on this subject for a long while but it is time for me to call it a day.

I would how ever love to hear what fires you up about the world, or even what makes you angry.  So make some comments and get it off you chest.

Stay cool, calm and collected. And Awesome.

  1. I need to give this some thought, I almost agree with you, I would just use different words, as I will be coming from a different angle. I’ll try to make a proper comment soon. The brain is just a bit addled this evening lol

  2. People who bully, belittle and have a negative influence on others are what fires me up. People who speak illegitimate truths about others, make threats etc.

I live my life with the best intentions for other people, treating them with respect and in the way I want to be treated, when I see other people treating the people I care about in a negative way, or negatively influence someone, it works me up.

As you know with work, I have been affected by this sort of thing, where people have twisted stories, manipulated the truth or made up lies about stuff that wasn’t even true, but when its toward me it doesn’t matter. When I see people getting that same thing, it really frustrates me, especially when the person is awesome and would never hurt a fly and what complaint has been laid against them is completely untrue.

I always just want to ask why people can’t just be nice to each other, not try and tear each other down and support their friends/family (positive things and negative – obviously some exceptions). Suicide is pretty prominent in our world right now, one little word or action, someone could see that as their breaking point. It’s sad.

Oh and people who have 0 disregard for people’s safety like people who drive bad on purpose or don’t think about their actions on the road before they do it, or people who go out and put people in really dangerous situations like leaving someone alone in town with no way home or no way to contact someone. etc.

Wow, I must have a lot of issues to get out hahaha.

    1. I hear you, I think I agree with you on most points, especially one small action that could be someones breaking point. Sad indeed. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but nothing is impossible. One day at a time, one step at a time and hopefully many people at a time.

Also sounds like you could totally benefit from your own blog. 🙂
