Those of you, who have been following along may have an idea where this post is going. For the new readers however here is some back story. Some time ago I was diagnosed with stage 2.5 Hodgkin Lymphoma. And soon after, I started chemotherapy to remedy the situation.
Some of you may be wondering, how on earth do you get a stage 2.5 disease? Some of you may say, that’s not even possible. Well let me explain. Initially the doctors expected me to have stage two Hodgkin Lymphoma. On my last visit to the hematologist, after getting my pet-ct scan, the hematologist told me the same, stage two, except that she thought there were a few new spots on the image close to my liver. She didn’t really want to call it stage three, in her hesitation, I called it stage 2.5, and we all had a good laugh. So from there on I called it Stage 2.5 Hodgkin Lymphoma.
As you can see, anything is possible, even a stage 2.5 disease. What ever you want to achieve in life, put your mind to it, think positively, and you’ll start moving in that direction.
Awesomeness your way.
Positively, T Neil van Rooyen
Hi Neil how are you keeping today. Hi forgot to say i like the picture that you put on, it’s very nice. Love ?☺
LOVE the picture today! Its quite strange how some of your posts sometimes reflect something I read in my Word for Today. Like – the bookends of success are Commitment and Consistency. Without commitment you’ll never start and without consistency you’ll never finish. Getting started is the hardest part, because we come up with so many reasons not to. So Start Small, you cant take step two until you’ve taken step one. Start with yourself, if you want others to respond to you differently, give them a different set of attitudes and actions to respond to. Which you are well on the way of doing!! Start early. The “work” doesn’t seem nearly so hard once you stop putting it off. Start now. What are you waiting for? If you wait long enough you’ll only have one regret, that you didn’t start now. You, Neil, are well on your way now with some new good habits, keep it up! I love the way you keep on inspiring ME!
