More big questions today. Actually these are something I have been working on this morning so it’s a good time to answer these today.

Charlotte and Audrey asked these questions:

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Where do you see yourself in ten years time?

Karl’s question would probably fit in here to, he asked:

In the past you’ve had a few ideas of what you would like to do with your life in the future. After getting sick and dealing with things you never thought you’d have to deal with, having lots of time to think about what you want to do with your life, what would be your favorite choice for the future now?

Here we go, I’ll do my best to answer these questions and not scare you to much, cause I know I sure am scared. Not sure what I’m more scared about, what I want to achieve or sharing it with all of you.

Now this morning when I looked at what I want to do in the future I didn’t put time frames on them, but I’m sure I’ll fit them in these times some how. I also want to come up with a two hundred year goal, but we’ll get to that later. The reason I was looking at this topic today is, I was trying to answer this question.

1. How would you spend your time…

… if you won $100,000,000 cash and $10,000,000 per year in passive income for the rest of your life.

Specifically, what would you do after the 6 month climatisation period? What would you do after you’ve bought the cars and the houses, traveled the world, seen the sights and grown sick of cocktails on the beach?

So I’ll start from the long term and work my way back.

Ten year plus.

The Venus Project:

You can read all about The Venus Project at their site. I will support The Venus Project financially and other wise, promotion etc. Firstly I would like to meet and talk with Jacque and Roxanne, who are the founders of The Venus Project (TVP). I specifically want to pay for Jacque and Roxanne’s living costs so that their material can be freely available to the world. At the moment they have to sell their materials and information to cover their living costs. I think this information is very valuable to move the world from where we are to a world that I would be more happy to leave to my children. Part of my change the world plan. 🙂

 

Elon Musk:

Who is Elon Musk you may ask. He is another person working hard at changing the world to be a better place. He is the guy who is changing the world of electric cars, Tesla. He is helping to provide cheap renewable energy for homes and charging electric cars, SolarCity, and landing rockets back on earth like you see in the movies, here’s an example. Not to mention sending people to mars, SpaceX. Have you ever paid for anything on the internet? You can thank Elon Musk for that too, he started PayPal way back in the day. Before PayPal there was no easy way to make online payments. He is definitely a world changing person. If I want to change the world then it would be a good idea for me to support him and one day meet Elon Musk, so I can learn from him how to be an Awesome world changer.

So you can see why I might be scared, these are no small tasks, but fear won’t hold me back, the more you find out about topics that scare you, the less scary they are. So I just have to keep searching in the right direction.

Five Year Plus.

I would love to be able to help people locally with random kinds of needs. I often see on Seven Sharp, it’s on at dinner time, 🙂 , people that need help with one thing or the other. A few examples are Hamilton Homeless Trust whose building is being demolished to make room for a car park. They need a place to work from for less than 2 hours a night. I would like to be able to help with situations like that. Also a few weeks back there was a lady who had her car stolen from the hospital while her little girl was getting treatment for Leukemia. I would love to be able to help them out, even buy them a Tesla model 3 car. Then I’ll be helping the lady and supporting Elon Musk. Why not. Why not put yourself in a place where you can help people in an extra ordinary way. That’s what I want to work towards.

There are also some things I would like to achieve for myself, like traveling, learning to dance, Gliding, getting back into sailing, writing a book. I think I just about got that last one covered in this post here. 🙂

 

Sooner.

Then obviously things like taking care of myself and my families needs will happen as soon as possible.

That’s what I worked on earlier today. So in the short term I need to find people who want to change the world with me. I can’t do this by myself, this has to be a team effort. And if you look at the people above that I would like to work with one day, they have teams around them. And as always the change starts within, so currently I’m reading books etc to help me change how I think about what is possible, and what I can achieve.
